Quinn takes helm at Cambridge Beaches
Cambridge Beaches announced yesterday that it has appointed Richard Quinn as its new manager to replace Romana Heeg.
Mr. Quinn, a Bermudian who was the former general manager of Daniels Head Village and also worked for Sonesta Beach, The Reefs and the Department of Tourism, begins on December 9.
Michael Winfield, the president and chief executive officer of the upmarket resort, said: "Richard's many years in hospitality will serve him well as assumes control of the day-to-day management of our resort.
"We are determined to raise the standards of Cambridge Beaches each and every day to ensure we are effectively competing with the finest resort properties in the world.
"Richard shares our commitment to excellence and we are very pleased to now have a Bermudian in this senior position."
Mr. Quinn said: "I have long admired Cambridge Beaches. I believe it to be the finest of its type in Bermuda and know enjoys an enviable in the world markets.
"I am honoured to be joining this very professional team and I greatly look forward to playing apart in their ongoing success."
Ms Heeg took over two years ago, days before Cambridge Beaches completed a major refurbishment.
