For all those gearing up to cast their ballots in tomorrow's General Election the Parliamentary Registrar is reminding voters of some important voting procedures.

The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and voters should check the revised register to make sure they are eligible to vote, according to Parliamentary Registrar, Sabrina Phillips.

The revised register can be viewed at Post Offices, the Government Department of Communication and Information, Police Stations, the Bermuda Library and online at www.elections.gov.bm. Voters are also being reminded to bring the right forms of identification to the polling station - either a Commonwealth passport, a voter's ID card, a valid driver's licence, an employee identification card with a photo, signature, date of birth and address, or a special person's card.

After arriving at the poll and giving the required information, voters will be able to cast their ballots. But when doing so, make sure to mark only one candidate because voting for more than one candidate will result in a defective ballot.
