The Coco Reef Resort has applied to the Department of Planning for several renovations and extensions to the old Stonington Campus.

A member of the refurbishment team said that the resort was planning to build an additional luxury two bedroom cottage suite, a new roof over an existing courtyard and a new veranda on an existing villa.

She said the new luxury two bedroom villa was to be built next to Bendcliff Villa and it was still in the development stages.

The plan was for Bendcliff to have a south facing veranda put on the property.

The new covering for the courtyard was expected to go above the pool and south facing ocean terrace.

She said they were planning a new Mediterranean feel with Greek-styled columns.

She said it was still in the early planning stages and could not estimate a completion date.
