Revised voting list ready for viewing

The Parliamentary Registry Office is reminding the public that the revised voters list has been published and is available for viewing.

Sabrina Philips said that members of the public who wish to view their registration particulars to ensure that they are correct, have until tomorrow, to make any changes.

"After July 3, the Parliamentary Voters Register will be final for the next General Election," said Mrs. Phillips.

"I want to encourage members of the public who took the time to either register to vote or change their registration particulars last week, to view this current register to ensure that their information is accurate.

"If there are any inaccuracies or queries, then they should notify our office in writing and deposit the sum of $5 for each objection before July 3.

"Once the time period is over, we will update the register and it will be finalised for the July 24, General Election."

The voting public are reminded that registers are available for viewing at the Post Offices, the Government Department of Communication and Information, Police Stations, the Bermuda Library and online at www.elections.gov.bm.
