Rising costs force up price of newspaper

THE cover price of the <I>Mid-Ocean News</I> rises today from 90 cents to one dollar.The price was last increased from 80 cents to 90 cents a year ago.Today's increase is necessary because of continued rising costs, especially in the price of electricity and newsprint, the company's general manager Keith Jensen said.
