A major search for a missing nine-year-old boy was being conducted in the western parishes of the Island last night.

Malakie Martin has not been seen since early on Tuesday morning when he left Somerset Primary School to go home because he had forgotten something.

Fifteen Police officers were conducting a search of the Southampton and Sandys parishes as the boy?s parent?s concerns grew.

Bermuda Police Service media relations officer Robin Simmons said: ?We have officers out looking for him but with darkness falling there are concerns for the boy.?
