A vicious sex attacker terrorised a teenager walking home alone from a party ? triggering a fresh Police warning for women to be on their guard.

In the second attack on a woman in six days, the 19-year-old Southampton victim was left needing hospital treatment.

Meanwhile, Police believe the prime suspect in an assault on a lone woman jogger last Saturday has fled the Island and could be heading back to Scotland.

The 32-year-old computer technician flew to London on the British Airways flight just hours after the attack in Parsons Lane, Devonshire.

The latest incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday after the woman had left the White Hill Club. Her assailant dragged her into a deserted driveway, threw her to the ground and tried to have sex with her.

She fought him off and ran away, but was chased down.
