Senators are today expected to approve two property deals in what is likely to be a short sitting of the Upper Chamber.
The Senate will first consider Government?s proposal to purchase White Hill Field which was approved in the House of Assembly with no objections from the Opposition United Bermuda Party. And Senators are also set to approve a deal which exchanged land at Berkeley Road for the Bayview property on Happy Valley Road.
The land transfer was to make way for the new Senior Secondary School at Berkeley. Part of the property on which the school is being built was owned by the Haven Trust which runs Teen Services.
