Showers splash some parishes, skip others

Today and tomorrow offer the best chances for some limited relief from the drought after downpours in some parts of the Island yesterday left other areas untouched.
Rain was reported in the central parishes but Bermuda Weather Service reported none in the East End while western parishioners were also frustrated to have missed out.
Bermuda is suffering its worst drought for more than 50 years with water now being rationed for truckers.
One West End resident told : ?I can?t even get on a waiting list with my regular supplier.?
Meteorologist James Morrison said some showers are predicted today from a weak cold front caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy.
?But it won?t be anything significant in terms of downpours.?
