A St. George's man died after losing control of his bike on Barrack's Hill, St. George's yesterday morning. Shane Furbert, 33, from Hedgerow Lane, St. George's suffered serious head injuries after hitting a telephone poll and was rushed to hospital at 2.15 a.m. but was pronounced dead an hour later. Witnesses are asked to contact Acting Inspector Spencer on 295 0011.
