Residents and visitors who support the St. George's Foundation will have the chance of winning a timeshare on the Island for 25 years.

The St. George's Club is offering a week's annual timeshare in a cottage which has a value of $3,000.

People attending Heritage Nights in the Old Town, which begin on June 5, will have a chance to win the prize.

It is open to anyone at Heritage Nights who buys a World Heritage 2002 calendar or a brick to re-pave Shinbone Alley -- one of St. George's most historic streets -- or who joins the Foundation.

St. George's Foundation chairman David Rowntree said: "Heritage Nights provide a great opportunity for us to talk to visitors and locals about our work and encourage their support for the many exciting improvements planned to bring the town's history to life.

"The St. George's Club has been tremendously supportive of our objectives and we hope that their generous donation to us will help us raise even more funds this year."
