The line-up for the eighth annual Bermuda Jazz Festival was announced yesterday.

This year's event takes place from October 8 to 12.

Natalie Cole, Kenny G and Stephanie Mills, the star from the Broadway play `The Wiz', will be featured on the Dockyard stage.

Also performing will be BeBe Winans, Freddie Jackson, Regina Belle, Marcus Johnson and Mike Phillips.

Tourism Minister Renee Webb announced that the Tourism Ministry will once again be partnering with Black Entertainment Television (BET) Event Productions for the festival.

"While we are very happy to have such jazz luminaries on the Island, we're even prouder to showcase some of the great talent our own Island has to offer with local artists such as Maurita Andre, Fires of Africa and the Saltus Jazz Band," said Ms Webb.

Tickets will go on sale on June 18 in the US and are $60 for general admission and $85 for reserved seating.

Tickets will be on sale in Bermuda on August 4 at 27th Century and Sound Stage.
