A 14-year-old boy told a Supreme Court trial yesterday of his anger and pain after he was allegedly sodomised at the home of an off-duty Police officer.

The boy, who was ten at the time and cannot be named for legal reasons, is one of three youths who are pressing 11 sexual abuse related charges against the man.

Speaking softly and stopping at times to fight back tears, the boy told the seven-man, five-woman jury that he went to the man?s house three times during the Christmas holiday between December, 2001 and January, 2002.

He first spent the night on December 26, 2001.

That afternoon he was watching TV in the living room when the man, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, came out of his room dressed only in his under vest.

?He told me to take off my clothes and lay on the couch,? said the boy. ?He rubbed his penis against my behind.?

?How did you feel?? asked Senior Crown counsel Juan Wolffe.

?Mad,? he said.

This witness is one of three who will testify in the two-week trial. The accused faces charges of sexual assault and causing bodily harm between December 26, 2001 and January 2, 2002.

He faces additional charges between those same dates of sexually exploiting the boy when he allegedly touched him and sexual exploitation when he invited the boy to touch.

Other charges include buggery between those dates and assault occasioning bodily harm.

The same incident happened again on New Year?s Eve with the boy spending the night at the man?s house alone.

He said he went to sleep and when he woke up the next day the accused had gone to work.

On the third date, the boy said the pair went to see a movie with the man and then returned to his home.

The boy told the court that he was given ?licks? for stealing and that the man told him his mother gave him permission to spank him.

The incident occurred in the man?s bedroom.

The next day he was watching movies in the man?s den when he came into the room again wearing only an under vest. He said the man gripped him around the waist and sodomised him.

?It hurt, I started to cry. I ran to the bathroom, I was crying because it hurt. He came inside the bathroom and told me to be quiet,? he said.

He said the man gave him several painkillers to take, in both the form of tablets and liquid.

?He told me that it would heal and he told me to go to bed,? said the boy.

A Detective Constable with the Police Forensic Support unit showed the jury photographs of the boy?s physical injuries which were taken after the alleged incident in 2002.

The boy said he told his mother about the injuries and he went to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was examined.

Mr. Wolffe asked the boy if his penis had ever been touched by the man.

The boy said the man performed oral sex on him.

During cross examination by overseas counsel John Perry QC, the boy did admit that he had been engaging in bad behaviour prior to the incidents during Christmas 2001.

He admitted to trying to steal from a shop and generally telling lies during questioning.

Mr. Perry pointed out the prosecutor had not established correct dates for the alleged incidents.

The trial continues today under Assistant Justice Carlisle Greaves.
