An 18-year-old Southampton woman is in a critical but stable condition in intensive care after colliding with a taxi on Middle Road, Southampton on Saturday evening.

Police said the collision happened as the taxi was turning into the Market Place shortly before 6 p.m. Witnesses are urged to call Inspector Tyrone Smith on 295 0011.
