Teen rushed to KEMH

A 14-year-old girl was rushed to hospital when she began having an asthma attack while the car she was in was stuck in line at the Causeway.

A Police officer, who was also in line for the Causeway, was informed that the St. George's girl was having an asthma attack a few cars ahead of him and that her mother was attempting to take her to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The officer took the girl in his vehicle and rushed toward the hospital and was intercepted by an ambulance that took the girl the rest of the way.

She was treated at the hospital and then later released.
