St. George's teen Kijon Noel Baker was fined $1,000 and taken off the road for one year for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Baker, 18, of Mount Road, admitted to acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves on Thursday that he was under the influence driving on Kindley Field Road on February 27.

When stopped by Police, he said he had two beers in the Beach Bar in Hamilton, said Crown counsel Oonagh Vaucrossan.

And Samuel Wallen, 40, of Southampton, was fined $1,000 when he admitted driving while disqualified on Church Street, Hamilton, on April 5.
