A 16-year-old pleaded not guilty to possessing a machete and drugs on Court Street over the weekend.

Dar-Ronte Dill, of Fenton’s Drive, Pembroke, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly possessing cannabis and a bladed article.

He elected for his case to be heard in Magistrates’ Court.

Dill’s trial will take place on July 18. He was released on $5,000 bail and required to have one surety.
