A Devonshire teenager was remanded in custody for a Supreme Court trial after he was charged with punching a woman in the face and robbing her handbag.
Darren Anglin, 19, of Alexandra Road, Devonshire, did not have to enter a plea in Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Magistrate Edward King charged Anglin with robbing a woman's handbag, with $100 cash, numerous cards, cosmetic equipment and keys inside, in Pembroke, on Saturday.
Mr. King continued to say Anglin allegedly used personal violence on the woman ? punching her in the face ? in order to retain the bag.
Mr. King remanded Anglin for two weeks to reappear in Magistrates' Court on March 1 for mention.
