Magistrate Carlisle Greaves denied bail yesterday to three local men accused of the armed robbery of Grotto Bay Hotel.

St. George's resident Jahvon Outerbridge, 20, and Hamilton Parish residents Sidney Gibbons, 39, and Tariq White, 23, were ordered held in custody until May 7.

Outerbridge and White, represented by Mark Pettingill and Elizabeth Christopher respectively, were also charged with possessing an offensive weapon.

Gibbons was represented in court by Peter Farge.

Their arrests stem from a reported robbery at Grotto Bay Hotel last week when two masked armed robbers held up a female front desk worker.

The three charged yesterday were not required to plead to the charges which are indictable.
