Sahdow Home Affairs Minister Maxwell Burgess has slammed Government after revealing top Police officers have been working without a contract for three years.
He said talks had dragged on so long they would soon be ready to start negotiating the next contract without resolving the last.
?These people are the engine room of the Police Service,? he said, adding that much was expected of the Police, yet their leaders were not being taken care of.
A Police spokesman confirmed Assistant Commissioner Carlton Adams and the four Superintendents were working without a formal agreement and that talks, centring around pay and allowances, were continuing.
