Tourism forum to be held

A public forum will be held next month to allow Government to get a better idea of what is needed to take tourism forward, Tourism Minister Renee Webb announced yesterday.

She told MPs the meeting will be held on December 4 ?to delve into a meaningful dialogue with a host of representatives from the tourism industry?.

?Among the many topics of discussion will be local entertainment, gaming, travel incentives, the cruise industry, sustainable development, hospitality training, and fostering understanding of the tourism industry among youth.

?Tourism?s success is everyone?s future and I am encouraging the Honourable members of the House and members of the public to support this initiative, because it is an opportunity for us to gauge the public feelings and perception on tourism and what we should consider in going forward.?
