A Southampton man denied causing grievous bodily harm to another man in Magistrates? Court on Friday.

Crown Counsel Cindy Clarke said that Michael Allan Madeiros, 40, of St. Anne?s Road, Southampton, was accused of causing unlawfully grievous harm to a man on July 25, 2004 in Southampton.

Magistrate Edward King bailed Madeiros at $1,500 to reappear at Magistrates? Court for his trial on November 15.

He was represented by Mark Pettingill.

At the same plea court session, Myka Dan Chapman, 23, of 21 Berkeley Road, Pembroke, denied causing grievous bodily harm to another on March 6, 2004 in Pembroke.

He was granted bail of $2,000 to reappear in Magistrate?s Court for December 16.
