Four men were in Police custody last night after a bloody street fight broke out in Hamilton Parish, sending two men to hospital.

A number of officers including Emergency Response Team (ERT) members responded to reports of the incident at My Lord's Bay Road shortly after 5 p.m.

At least ten men were believed to be fighting with weapons which included knives, baseball bats and machetes, Police said last night.

One of the injured received serious cuts to his arm while the second suffered only minor cuts to his fingers.

The fight was said to involve young men from St. George's area as well as the Crawl neighbourhood.

Police are making further inquiries into the incident.
