The Bermuda Industrial Union and the Hotel Employers of Bermuda are hosting a job fair today from 9.30 a.m. to noon at the BIU HQ in Union Square.

Hotel jobs on offer are likely to include housekeepers, room attendants, front desk agents and bar staff. BIU president Chris Furbert said: ?This is an ideal forum for Bermudians who are currently seeking a job to meet the human resource managers of the hotels, and, hopefully, gain employment in the not too distant future.?

Hotel Employers of Bermuda CEO John Harvey said: ?The hotel industry is committed to employing as many Bermudians as possible and to encourage them to consider the hospitality industry as a career, which offers many different types of job classifications.?
