Parliamentary Registrar Sabrina Phillips is encouraging all eligible voters to make sure they are registered to vote, either in person or online.

And Mrs. Phillips warned any voter who has moved or altered his or her name since the last election could be in danger of not being able to vote in this year's election.

For all of those who aren't currently registered correctly or have never registered before Mrs. Phillips says it is possible to complete the process online at the registrar's website at www.elections.gov.bm.

Voters will also find help in locating their new constituency with the Constituency Finder feature on the website.

Voters can still register the old fashioned way by picking up a registration form at the Parliamentary Registry Office in the Valerie T. Scott Building at 60 Reid Street, Hamilton, or from any of the Island's Post Offices or Police stations.

Mrs. Phillips added that with the new Constituency changes it is crucial that voters are attentive to registering correctly.

In order to be eligible to vote one must be 18 years or older, Bermudian by birth or status or a Non-Bermudian Commonwealth citizen who was registered to vote on May 1, 1976.
