A 33-year-old Smith?s woman was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital yesterday after she was in collision with a car on Church Street near Wesley Street.

The woman was treated for a sprained left ankle and bruised hip. A black Toyota Corolla was turning west on Church Street at 11.05 a.m. when it collided with her at the pedestrian crossing.

The car sustained front end damage and the driver, a 37-year-old Smith?s man, was ticketed for driving without due care and attention.
