Solutions: The National Think Tank Report recently produced interesting resolutions for the youth of tomorrow.

MP Dale Butler handed over the report to Minister of Youth and Sport Randolph Horton on the steps of the House of Assembly on Friday. Mr. Horton said he had not read the think tank report but added Government was already developing a national youth service initiative.

He said a committee had been set up last month and a two-day session was held at Sonesta Beach Hotel attended by 130 people including youth professionals and youngsters.

Mr. Horton said another conference was planned soon. He said: "We are now putting together a report. We will look at incorporating the ideas from Mr. Butler's group."

The Minister said young people were not happy and were committing crime. He said they needed to feel good about themselves in order to improve.

He said: "I basically believe young people want to be good. We have to provide an opportunity for them to make the right choice."
