Bail for man accused of wounding

A Hamilton Parish man faced wounding charges yesterday more than a year after the alleged incident took place.

Mario Pascoe, of Cottage Hill Road, was not required to enter a plea for the six counts because the matter must be heard in Supreme Court.

The 24-year old was charged with between September 24 and 25, 2006 in St. George's, wounding Robert Fabian with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, assaulting Mr. Fabian with intent to rob him, unlawfully assaulting Mr. Fabian and using threatening words.

The defendant was bailed in the amount of $5,000 with one surety until January.
