Burglaries on the rise
A 52-inch flat screen TV was stolen from a Sandys Parish residence in the middle of the day.
The brazen robber made off with the large flat screen TV and a Nintendo Wii gaming system while the owners were at work on Wednesday.
And a 19-inch plasma TV and white iPod Nano were stolen from a Pembroke residence on Wednesday.
And a quantity of cash and six DVDs were stolen from a North Shore Road, Pembroke residence on Wednesday as well.
A Police spokesman added: "The Bermuda Police Service has noticed a recent increase in burglaries across the Island, particularly during the day time. We are therefore encouraging members of the public who may observe any suspicious individuals or activity occurring in their neighbourhoods to contact Police without delay on the main number, 295-0011."
