Corporation councillor election set for Thursday

An election for a new Corporation of Hamilton councillor will take place on Thursday.Both David Sullivan and Pamela Ferreira were nominated for the position of Common Councillor. The previous Common Councillor was Courtland Boyle. He is now an Alderman for the Corporation.Hamilton Mayor Sutherland Madeiros said: "I am very pleased that we have two candidates of the calibre of Pamela and David.

Hamilton Mayor Sutherland Madeiros said: "I am very pleased that we have two candidates of the calibre of Pamela and David.
"I strongly encourage all registered voters to come out to City Hall next Thursday to vote for their preferred Common Councillor."
The election will take place on October 11 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall, Hamilton.
