Destination Dockyard returns this evening
The weekly festival Destination Dockyard has is back and will commence in the Royal Naval Dockyard on Monday evenings through to October.
The Chamber of Commerce will host the event with sponsorship from the Department of Tourism, the West End Development Corporation and Royal Caribbean International (RCI).
Each week, one of RCI's two mega cruise ships dock in Dockyard with up to 5,000 passengers on board.
As RCI is promoting the events onboard to all passengers.
Opening night will feature The Travellers, a local band which play the best of 60's and 70's music.
The festivities will include RCI's act David Haines Magic, with the promise of people appearing, disappearing, floating in the air, getting cut in half and more, as well as Gombey dancers closing the show each week.
The Clock Tower Shopping Mall will be open late in addition to entertainment and specials from surrounding businesses.
There is to be a wide variety of activities for children, such as fun castles, face painting, hair braiding, airbrush tattoos, jewellery and a dolphin show at Dolphin Quest.
