A total of 120 drinkers took advantage of a free taxi service to get them home safely over Christmas and New Year.
The 'Let Us Drive' initiative is spearheaded by the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (CADA) in tandem with corporate sponsor Bacardi Ltd.
Late-night cabs and minibuses are available every Friday night between 3.15 and 3.45 a.m. Additional services were laid on over the festive period, on December 20 and 22 and New Year's Eve.
CADA and Bacardi commended those members of the public who chose to utilise the potentially life-saving service.
The scheme was first launched as a trial in May 2007 amid publicity about the fact that at least half the drivers who die on Bermuda's roads each year are victims of drink driving.
