Four men who allegedly attacked a Pembroke man at the junction of Reid Street and Burnaby Street earlier this month were in court yesterday for a bail hearing.

Jahki Dillas, 21, of Railway Trail, Riviera Southampton, Dejean Clinard Smith, 23, of Spring Hill, Warwick, Quann-Marley Derrick Lowe, 20, of Sunny Side Park, Southampton and Maurico Mario Atkins, 20, of Scenic Heights Pass, Southampton, appeared before Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo.

Defence lawyer Shade Subair represents Quann-Marley Derrick Lowe and yesterday made a submission for bail as Lowe needs his income to support his family.

Charles Richardson represents the other three men and also submitted a request for bail, as all three have been remanded in custody following their arrest earlier this month.

Mr. Tokunbo released all four men on $5,000 bail with one surety to appear for mention in plea court on April 11.
