Extra ferries will be laid on for holiday shoppers until Christmans, the Department of Marine and Ports Services said yesterday.

There will be two additional trips leaving Hamilton Ferry Terminal for Rockaway at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. every Friday until Christmas.

For weekend shopping in Dockyard and to coincide with the "Rockin' with the Lights" Festival, there will be a ferry departing Hamilton at 6 p.m. with return trips to Hamilton at 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. on Sunday December 9, and Sunday December 23.
