Police attended a reported breaking and entering at 9.20 p.m. on Monday at a Spanish Heights, Smith's home.

Officers spoke to the complainants who said they left the residence at 6 p.m. and when they returned a few hours later, someone had broken into the house and stole a large amount of jewellery. The matter is being investigated.
