Painter: 'Business has always been a struggle'
Painter Roydon Richardson says running a business has always been difficult in Bermuda.
The 71-year-old runs Triple-R Painting with his family.
Asked about changes over the years he says: "It's always been a struggle, I don't see much difference. Business is just like that you get so much up and down."
He likes the Progressive Labour Party policies to boost technical training and get industry input on what skills needed to be taught.
But he remains suspicious of the United Bermuda Party.
"I would not want to believe what those guys say. But I try not to get into politics, it's a whole pile of bull."
However, he likes some of the things the PLP has already done.
"I don't pay land tax, they abolished the death tax. I don't have to worry about a lot of things."
And the party will once again get his vote.
"We normally vote PLP, we go that way," he said.
