Pizza delivery man robbed
A pizza delivery man was robbed in Sandys on Wednesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old victim told Police that he was making a delivery to a residence on Seawall Drive around 3:15 p.m. that day. However, when he arrived in the area, he was approached by five unknown men. One of the men punched him in the head, while the others pushed him to the ground. The assailants demanded money and the victim complied, handing them a quantity of cash.
The suspects then removed five pizzas from the basket of the pizza delivery man's motorcycle before escaping.
One of the suspects is described as a dark-skinned male, approximately 5'6" tall, wearing a black T-shirt and black sports shoes.
Police yesterday appealed for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
