Police called out to burglaries

Police have responded to four burglaries over a span of two days in homes from Devonshire and Pembroke to Southampton.

The first occurred at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday at a Crane Lane, Pembroke home where the complainant said while he was overseas between 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 5 and noon on Tuesday, August 14 someone entered his house.

A silver bracelet, a silver chain, a 20 inch flat screen TV and a quantity of coins were taken.

Later that afternoon, at 4.20 p.m. a complainant of an Industrial Park Road, Southampton home said that someone entered their home between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day.

A culprit stole a gold ring, a gold bracelet and a quantity of cash.

Finally on Tuesday at 10.25 p.m. a resident of a Palm Lane, Devonshire home stated between 6.30 p.m. and 9.50 p.m. that day someone entered their home while it was unoccupied.

An iPod, a Blackberry cell phone, a silver Sony digital camera, a JVC digital video camera and a quantity of cash were taken.

Then at 1.45 p.m. on Wednesday, Police responded to a burglary of a Ridgeway Road, Pembroke residence where the complainant said sometime between 8 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. that day someone entered their home.

A silver Canon Powershot digital camera in a black case was taken.

Inquiries into all four incidents are underway.
