A group of men are suspected to have taken part in an aggravated burglary on a Curving Avenue, Pembroke home on Thursday, robbing the occupants and assaulting one of them.

Police received the report around 12.35 p.m. and was told by the complainant that earlier, he and another man were at the home when a group of unknown men invaded and demanded money.

The suspects searched the home before removing cash from one of the occupants. The suspects then took that male occupant from the home by car.

In the car, one suspect punched him in his left eye before later releasing him.

The culprits are described as four to five black males wearing hooded tops.

Police are investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
