Police have warned members of the public to cooperate with officers at all times.

The Royal Gazette understands an incident took place on Tuesday where a man was behaving irrationally and "annoyingly".

Police were called and when they attended the scene, they determined the man was acting in the manner described.

He resisted arrest, made a gun gesture and then put his hand in his pocket before he was finally arrested.

Police are advising the public to comply with officers at all times if approached and refrain from reaching into their pockets or making any hand gestures resembling a firearm.
