Roadworks on Brighton Hill

Brighton Hill Road will be closed to south-bound traffic from today, due to roadworks.The Ministry of Works and Engineering is advising motorists only north-bound vehicles will be able to travel up the road, as the south-bound lane from Melville Road to South Road will close.A spokesman said: "This is not a full road closure. We are closing a section of the south-bound lane. We appreciate your cooperation and patience whilst we undertake this necessary work."
