A thief has stolen several rods and reels from a fishing boat.

Police were alerted to the theft on Wednesday morning. The victim told them the culprit struck at some point between 7 a.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Police were also alerted to a burglary on Wednesday. The victim said her home in Valley Road, Paget, was raided while it was unoccupied between 9 a.m. and 5.15 p.m. that day. Cash and DVDs were stolen.
