A room at a Paget guest property was burgled with a brown leather handbag containing cash and personal items taken.

The complainant, who is a visitor, told officers that sometime between 11.50 p.m. on Thursday and 2.30 a.m. on Friday, someone gained entry to her room.

Police are inquiring into the incident.
