Police are investigating after a burglary took place at a Glenwood Park Crescent, Warwick residence which occurred during the early hours of yesterday.

At around 5 a.m., the complainant told officers that sometime earlier she was awakened by noises coming from inside her home.

When she went to investigate, she discovered that an unknown man had gained entry.

She then confronted the suspect, who was able to escape. It appeared nothing had been taken from the home.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately six-foot tall wearing a black and grey striped shirt and dark coloured pants.
