A Pembroke woman denied stealing almost $9 worth of groceries yesterday in Magistrates' Court.

Shirley Francis of Orchard Lane pleaded not guilty to stealing brie cheese worth $6.59 and Top Ground Lean hamburger meat worth $2.31 from MarketPlace on November 8 total value of $8.90.

Her trial will take place in February.
