Dispose of your hazardous waste responsibly this weekend at the Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility.

Government is holding 'Hazardous Waste drop-off days' today and tomorrow, in which the public is encouraged to bring in compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs), old pesticides, chemicals, outdated medicines and anything else with a hazardous or warning label.

The Tynes Bay facility, in Palmetto Road, Devonshire, will be open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. For a complete list of items of hazardous items contact: 297- 7955.
