Motorcyclist injured
A motorcyclist was injured in a crash at the entrance to the Devonshire Recreation Club on Friday.
The accident happened in Frog Lane at 9.55 p.m. and involved the motorcyclist and the driver of an SUV.
A Police spokesman said: "It appears that the car and motorcycle collided as the car was attempting to turn into the Devonshire Recreation Club and the motorcycle was attempting to overtake."
The rider of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old Pembroke man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The motorcycle was extensively damaged."
The car driver, a 39-year-old woman from St. George's, was uninjured but the passenger side of her vehicle was damaged.
Last night the motorcyclist was described as being a stable condition in a general ward.
