Somerset Bridge in need of repair

The smallest drawbridge in the world is in need of repair.Traffic will be reduced to one lane over the Somerset Bridge between March 20 and March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to help with repairs.The timber drawbridge needs a hinge and several timber sections replaced because of the damage by motor-vehicles travelling over it. A spokesman for Works and Engineering has asked the public to exercise caution and comply with traffic signs and signals used during the repairs.
