The smallest drawbridge in the world is in need of repair.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane over the Somerset Bridge between March 20 and March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to help with repairs.

The timber drawbridge needs a hinge and several timber sections replaced because of the damage by motor-vehicles travelling over it. A spokesman for Works and Engineering has asked the public to exercise caution and comply with traffic signs and signals used during the repairs.
