It may not all be cops and robbers, and the streets may not resemble those of New York -- but there is always work to be done for the Police men and women patrolling the streets of Bermuda.

For an Island only 22 square miles, and with a population of only 62,000, people could be deceived into thinking the life of an officer is a quiet one.

Quite the contrary.

The courts are always busy with assaults, drug offences, burglaries, thefts and sometimes even murders, which means so are the men and women who man Bermuda's thin blue line.

And, with the holiday season about to kick in this week, and the warm weather just around the corner, the Island is about to burst into life again - and with it comes the attraction of crime.
