Mr. Arnold filed the Supreme Court writ earlier this week against Mrs.

Roseanne Rae Chapman as well as lawyers Moniz & George.

In March, Arnold's Tile said it was in the advanced stages of purchasing the product lines and property of Bermuda Hardware Ltd. on Serpentine Road from Mr. Peter Chapman and Mrs. Rae Chapman.

Mr. Arnold said then an agreement had been reached after about six months of talks.

None of the parties could be reached for comment yesterday.

The Serpentine Road property is roughly a third of an acre of industrial zoned land with a two-storey building of about 3,000 square feet.

Bermuda Hardware has since closed and it is understood the building has been taken over by another building products company, Pembroke Tile and Stone.
